Men's Basketball wrapped up its regular season this afternoon with a tough matchup against a conference opponent, Arkansas Baptist. The Pioneers pulled ahead early, leading by as much as 14 in the first half before the Buffaloes fought their way back into the game. The Pioneers would see deja vu in the second half as Arkansas Baptist drilled a buzzer-beater ending the game.
BUZZER BEATER AGAIN FOR PIONEERS
PARAGOULD, AR - Joshua Williams made a three-pointer as the final horn sounded lifting Arkansas Baptist over Crowley's Ridge 63-60. This was the second buzzer-beater of the week for the Pioneers after a 78-77 loss on Thursday night to Haskell.
CRC jumped out to an early lead but the Buffaloes pulled back within six points before the half.
BJ Johnson led the Pioneers with 24 points and nine rebounds in the afternoon. JD Smith added 17 points for CRC. Bo Roberson contributed a unique stat line of eight points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in the game.
