CRC traveled to Walnut Ridge, Ark. this evening to take on Highway 412 rival Williams Baptist Univesity for the first matchup since joining the American Midwest Conference. The Lady Pioneers would claim the opening set before falling to the Lady Eagles in the next three. CRC now sits 5-6 on the year and 1-2 in the AMC. Sets went as follows: 25-21 CRC, 19-25 WBU,16-25 WBU, and 21-25 WBU.

Walnut Ridge, Ark.- For the second contest in a row, the Lady Pioneers mustered double-digit kills in three of four sets, but would unluckily still face downfall as the Eagles one-upped CRC by going four for four in the same category. The Lady Pioneers came out laser hot in the opening set, claiming it with a four-point margin however, it wouldn't be enough to concrete their feet in victory as Williams Baptist University awakened, found their rhythm, and shut CRC out for the remainder of the matchup.

Though defeated, several Lady Pioneers had solid performances in the loss with sophomore Brooklyn Cross and freshman Alyssa Dirden leading the offense. Cross totaled 10 kills and two blocks while Scott City, MO native Dirden produced her first career double-double with 10 kills and 16 digs. Senior Hannah Halverson matched Dirden's team-high dig effort with 16 digs of her own.  Two more Lady Pioneers reached double-digit digs with sophomore Mallory Hollis adding 12 and freshman Madelyn Burris shoveling 11. Lastly, in the assist category, senior Jadyn Hesse came out on top with 17 while sophomore Jillian Glasgow added 14 helpers.
