Lady Pioneers Take Road Game With Three Set Sweep - Wil Teague, Sports Information Director, 9-8-23

Hot Springs, Ark.- After an eight day absence of volleyball the Lady Pioneers were finally able to get back on the court yesterday evening with a road matchup against Champion Christian College in Hot Springs, Ark. The Lady Pioneers, currently on a three game win streak, looked to win their first road game of the season while increasing their win streak to four. Crowley's Ridge would indeed accomplish their goal as they soundly defeated the Tigers of CCC in a three set sweep fashion. This solidified CRC first road win and first sweep victory of the 2023 season.The Lady Pioneers won set one with their closest margin of the evening, 25-18. Set two CRC left no doubt as they made quick work of the Tigers taking the set 25-10 and finaled their evening with a third set win of 25-18 once more. CRC improves to 4-1 on the season, 3-0 at home and 1-1 on the road. The Lady Pioneers will see a second stretch of volleyball absence as they won't play again until they host the Lions of Freed-Hardeman University in the Carter Activities Center on Saturday, September 16th at 1:00pm.
