CONWAY, Ark. – For the third straight match the Crowley's Ridge Lady Pioneers found themselves on the losing end of the match. Bested by the Central Baptist (Ark.) College Mustangs, CRC fell in three sets 10-25, 9-25, 20-25.

Crowley's Ridge (6-12, 1-3 CAC) stayed within two points by trailing 4-6, but the Mustangs rattled off 10 points out of the next 12 rallies. Unable to regain momentum, CRC fell in the opening set 25-10. The hosting Mustangs hit a 48% attack rating by tallying 13 kills to a single error.

Central Baptist (8-7, 2-1 AMC) continued their clean play into the second set going on a 5-0 run early in the set to take a 12-6 advantage before another 5-0 run late vaulted them to a 25-9 set victory.

Determined to force a fourth set, the Lady Pioneers saved their best for last when Hannah Halverson's back-to-back kills pulled the green and black within one point by trailing 16-15. The valiant push fell short of sending the squads to a fourth set as the Mustangs capped off the night with a 25-20 victory.

Halverson led the Lady 'Neers with seven kills and as many digs. Kaitlyn Perkins continued her solid back row play with a 17 dig night.
