Crowley's Ridge's Browning named CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

PARAGOULD, Ark. – Crowley's Ridge College freshman Lindsey Browning has garnered the first Continental Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week award for the 2022 calendar year.

The forward had a double-double performance with 10 points and 12 rebounds in the Pioneers' 77-44 victory against Welch (Tenn.) College last Tuesday.

The Viola native shot 40% from the floor and dished out three assists in the game.

Browning has averaged 8.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while starting 13 contests for the Pioneers, which have a 5-8 record. She has reached double figures in five of the last six games and has made 51.9% of her field goals this season.
