Paragould, AR — Senior Lilly Wessel delivered a standout performance on Senior Day, driving in five runs on three doubles to lead the Pioneers to a 10-2 run-rule victory over the HSSU Hornets in game one.
The Pioneers capitalized on wild pitching from the Hornets, drawing 10 free bases that fueled their offensive surge. Aimee Buckley joined Wessel with a multi-hit performance, going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.
Buckley also earned the win in the circle, pitching 5.0 innings while allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and striking out seven. Carrie Anna Davis led the team in scoring, crossing the plate four times.

Paragould, AR — CRC executed the same game plan in game two against the HSSU Hornets, benefiting on free bases offered by the Hornets' pitching staff while showing strong discipline at the plate. In the 18-1 blowout victory, the Pioneers drew fifteen walks and four HBPs and tallied eight hits, with six players recording multiple RBIs. Sophomore Jordan Janak led the way with a perfect 2-for-2 performance and four RBIs. Freshman Carrie Anna Davis and sophomore Cloey Miller followed with three RBIs apiece for the Pioneers.
Junior Hailey Tarrants added two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs, while junior Jada Diaz and freshman Faith Muntz also each contributed two RBIs through the pair drawing three walks each. Lauren Jones earned the win in the circle, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out two over 5.0 innings.
