PIONEERS WIN OPENER
PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College led the entire game on its way to a 61-49 win over Rust College in the Pioneers' season opener.
CRC led by as much as 10 points in the first half after a Bodie Bowden three-pointer. Jamir Todd made a free throw late in the second half to give the Pioneers their largest lead of the night at 16 points.
Cole Nichols led CRC in scoring with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Jamir Todd and Greg Robinson each added 10 points in the win.
CRC forced the Bearcats into 18 turnovers on the night, which led to 15 points off those turnovers for the Pioneers.
