PIONEERS FALL IN CONFERENCE OPENER

PARAGOULD, AR - College of Ozarks took an early 14-3 lead and never trailed again en route to a Continental Athletic Conference win. It was the conference opener for both teams.

Braxton Cousins led CRC with 28 points and 11 rebounds. A first-half basket put Cousins over the 1,000-point mark for his Pioneer career.

College of Ozarks led 47-31 at the half thanks to seven for 11 shooting from the three-point line. CofO cooled off in the second half shooting four for 11 from distance.

Gavin Hall added 12 points for CRC and Zak Brown finished with 10 points.
