Crowley's Ridge College Men's Basketball traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas to take on conference opponent Arkansas Baptist yesterday, January, 17th. The Pioneers entered the contest with a conference record of 1-1. Crowley's Ridge trailed going into the half and would not recover as Arkansas Baptist continued to build off their lead. The Buffalos ultimately defeated CRC and dropped the Pioneers conference record to 1-2 in the 2022-23 season.

 

LITTLE ROCK, AR - With CRC entering the contest 1-1 in conference play and Ark. Baptist entering 0-0 in conference play, both teams were in search of a win to pull their team back in the positive. Arkansas Baptist would strike first as they pulled ahead by 8 points and took that lead into the break,45-37, thanks to six first-half three-pointers. The CRC defense would rally in the 2nd half showing hope, but the effort would not be able to cut the gap as the Buffalos shot an impressive 53.3% on their home floor. Arkansas Baptist would be the ones to find the win, Improving to 1-0 in the conference while the Pioneers drop to 1-2. Final Score, CRC 72, Ark. Baptist 88.  


Bo Roberson led CRC with 17 points in the loss.
