Eagles pull away late

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. - Williams Baptist (Ark.) made 10 three-pointers and took advantage of 19 offensive rebounds on the way to a 97-67 win over Crowley's Ridge College.

Williams Baptist (4-0) led by as much as 16 in the first half and took a 47-32 lead into the half.

CRC (0-6) fought back into the game and cut the lead to 10 after an Alex Mero three-pointer pulled CRC to within 61-51 with 13:37 to play in the game.

Braxton Cousins led CRC with 17 points and JD Smith scored 15 on the night. Alex Mero added 10 points for CRC.
