PARAGOULD, AR - CRC trailed 42-33 at the half and fell behind by as much as 20 points early in the second half before making a charge back that fell just short in a 91-82 defeat to Fisk University on Saturday.
The game had seven lead changes but the Pioneers could not hang on and push past the Bulldogs. CRC shot 29 of 62 on the afternoon for 46.8% including 11 of 25 from the three point line. CRC struggled at the charity line on the day with a 13 of 21 effort.
Devin Graves led CRC with 23 points on seven made three pointers, both career highs for the Junior. Austin Pike added 17 points in the loss. Braeden Williams scored 11 points and David Ballard added 10 points on the afternoon.
