Lawrenceville, GA - Pioneers baseball kicked off its four-game non-conference weekend with a matchup against Point University. In the first game, the Skyhawks outperformed the Pioneers, winning 12-3. This was thanks to their powerful offense, which produced 18 hits compared to CRC's 6. Senior Kolby Webb led the offense, driving in two of the team's three runs himself—hitting a solo home run in the first and then bringing in Crafton Beeler with a sacrifice fly in the fifth. Senior James Wilson scored the other Pioneer run, driving in John Hudson with a sacrifice bunt in the fourth. Brayden Mashek took the loss, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits with 2 walks in 3.0 innings.

Georgia Gwinnett - 16

Lawrenceville, GA - In the second game of the weekend, the hosting #2-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College Grizzlies defeated the Pioneers 16-4. They scored all but one of their runs in the first four innings to establish a commanding lead. CRC added support to their side of the scoreboard in the third inning, with Kolby Webb and Reece Bariola each driving in one run. In the sixth, senior Kolby Webb delivered two more RBIs with a single to left field. The Pioneers recorded 9 hits in the game, led by Webb, who went 2-3 with a sacrifice fly and 3 RBIs. Reece Bariola also went 2-3 with an RBI. Cole Carson took the loss, allowing 9 runs (5 earned) on 8 hits while walking 2 and striking out 2 in 2.1 innings. Kamron Isbell made his collegiate debut, coming in relief and tossing 3.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits, walking 1, and striking out 2.
