Hill Named Head Men's Golf Coach, Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Crowley's Ridge College

PARAGOULD, Ark. – Crowley's Ridge College has announced the addition of Cory Hill to Pioneer Athletics, where he will serve as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach while also taking over as the Head Men's Golf Coach for the 2026-27 seasons. 

Hill arrives at Crowley's Ridge after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Midland College, where he helped guide the women's basketball program to back-to-back winning seasons while competing at the NJCAA level. Throughout his coaching career, Hill has built a reputation for player development, recruiting, and cultivating winning cultures both on and off the court.

In addition to joining the women's basketball staff, Hill will assume leadership of the Pioneer men's golf program. His experience in mentoring student-athletes, fostering competitive excellence, and building strong team cultures will serve as valuable assets as he looks to continue the growth and success of the men's golf program.

Prior to Midland College, Hill served as an assistant coach at Western Nebraska Community College during the 2022-23 season before leading Tocoi Creek High School as the Head Basketball Coach in 2023-24, where he helped guide the program to its highest win season to date. His coaching résumé also includes serving as Director of Operations for East Coast United, Head Girls Basketball Coach at University Christian School, where Hill led his squad to a final four state run, and a coaching role with the National Basketball Academy.

Throughout his career, Hill has contributed to programs that have enjoyed significant success, including multiple 20-win seasons, 50+ wins in three seasons at the High School level, an NJCAA Region IV South Championship, an appearance in the FHSAA state finals, and multiple district championships.

Hill earned his degree in Educational Studies from Western Governors University after completing his general studies coursework at Illinois Central College.

Recognized for his leadership, organization, and commitment to player development, Hill emphasizes character, accountability, and creating an environment where student-athletes can thrive both academically and athletically. His coaching philosophy centers on developing complete players while fostering a culture built on integrity, hard work, and excellence.
