PIONEERS SELECT NEW HEAD COACH FOR WOMEN'S HOOPS
PARAGOULD, AR - Nick Chaykowsky has been named the new Head Coach of the Women's Basketball program at Crowley's Ridge College. "Coach C" will replace Austin Harrell after Coach Harrell's single season leading CRC.
Chaykowsky comes to Paragould after leading Brescia University to back-to-back 20-win seasons. Last season, the Bearcats finished 24-8 overall and 13-3 in the River States Conference. They secured the conference West Division Championship. Their season ended in a first-round loss in the NAIA National Tournament.
Brescia finished the 2024-25 season with a 20-8 overall record.
Chaykowsky brings 36 years of coaching experience from the college and high school ranks. He spent three seasons as the Head Coach for the Women's program at Brescia. He has 14 seasons as an Assistant Coach at the college level and 19 seasons as both a Head Coach and Assistant Coach at the High School level.
"Coach C" played collegiately at the University of Tampa, where he earned his Bachelor's degree. He also holds a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University.
