Paragould, AR — Junior Aiden Smith etched his name into the Pioneer record books during this past series against Williams Baptist University, breaking Nate Finney's single-season hits record of 61, set during the 2020–2021 season.

The Nashville, AR native delivered an outstanding performance at the plate, going 6-for-11 across the three-game series for a .545 batting average. His effort pushed his season total to 63 hits — and counting — solidifying his place in program history.

Smith's consistency, discipline, and impact at the plate have been key components of the Pioneers' success this season, as he continues to be a reliable presence in the lineup and a spark for the offense.
